DR DARREN GN
B.Sc HSc (Osteo) M.Hsc (Osteo) SENIOR OSTEOPATH / Clinic Director
Darren is a professional kickboxer who has trained and worked with some of the best combat sports athletes and coaches in the country. Coming from a family of engineers, Darren has a passion for problem-solving and approaches healthcare by addressing the “root” of a patient’s pain to come up with a solution. He provides individualised treatment and management programs involving both hands-on treatment and exercise prescription to ensure rehabilitation and prevention of injury re-occurrence.

DR Benjamin Gierlach
B.Sc HSc (Osteo) M.Hsc (Osteo) OSTEOPATH
Benjamin (better known as Benji) has completed a Bachelor’s degree in Science and a Masters in Health science (Osteopathy) at Victoria University with distinctions. Benji’s passion and interest in Osteopathy stems from a range of sport, particularly Football and Volleyball in which he competed at state level. Through this, Benji understands the importance of preventative rehabilitation and acute or chronic injury management. Benji takes a holistic approach to treatment and management of his patients, in an attempt to fully understand the root cause of pain/discomfort. Benji has a special interest in knee pain, shoulder complaints, back pain and exercise rehabilitation. Outside of Osteopathy, Benji enjoys keeping busy through a vigorous gym routine, as well as still staying active in the volleyball and football community through sports training and playing. Benji is an avid Collingwood supporter.

DR Matthew Kalatzis (Podiatry)

Matt (BHsc MPod) graduated from LaTrobe University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Podiatric Practice. Since graduating, he has practised in a private clinic setting. He has attended many professional careers seminars to ensure the best care is given to his patients in evidence-based practice. Matt has a keen interest in Sports and Geriatics Podiatry. In his spare time, Matt loves to hit the gym to keep fit and travel. In 2018, Matt was recognised as one of the Best Young Achievers by the Manningham Business Council.

Ben (BA, BHsc MPod) takes a keen interest in reading general scientific, sport science and biomechanics based literature. He also has a keen interest in Sports Podiatry, systemic patho-physiology and Biomechanics and plans to continue his education with the goal of becoming a Podiatric Surgeon. He has had experience in hospital, community health and the private practice settings. In his spare time, Ben enjoys spending time with his wife and young son, lifting weights, running and following sport. Ben has worked in the fitness industry as a personal trainer for the last 6 years, focusing on developing clients’ strength, power, speed, and holistic wellbeing.

DR Mundeep Johal (Podiatry)

Mundeep is a Sports Podiatrist (BPodMed), and clinic director of Comfort Feet Tullamarine, having completed his Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine at Charles Sturt University. He holds current Sports Medicine Australia Membership, Mundeep specialises in lower limb biomechanics starting from the ground up to the hips, in order to reduce the risk of injuries, enhance performance, and for rehabilitation. Mundeep has trained and competed in combat sports such as; Freestyle Wrestling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and MMA since he was a child. His sporting background combined with this clinical expertise enables him to be a well versed and specialised sports podiatrist. Currently, Mundeep is working with a number of well known international and national combat athletes, including current UFC Welterweight Jake Matthews. Mundeep’s philosophy to ensure athletes are able to train and compete to their fullest is based on a 5 pillar approach involving; Biomechanics, Strength, Range of Motion, Neuromuscular, and Mental Health.

Brandon (BHsc MPod) graduated from LaTrobe University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and Master of Podiatry degree. Since graduating, Brandon has worked in a private clinic in Ballarat for 2 years working with a diverse range of sporting injuries, paediatrics and nail and skin care presentations. In addition to being a podiatrist, Brandon is also studying Remedial Massage Therapy. Outside of podiatry, Brandon enjoys being active through playing football, mountain bike riding and travelling the world snowboarding.

DR ANGELA SAFLEKAS (Podiatry)
(B.Pod, M.A.Pod.A.) Senior Podiatrist
Angela graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Podiatric Practice. She is experience in all aspects of podiatry including foot and ankle pain, diabetes foot assessments, children’s feet, orthotics and nail surgeries. Her past work experience has included experience working in a sports clinic treating patients with manual therapy hands on treatment such as foot mobilisation and manipulation therapy of the foot and ankle joints, shockwave therapy and tools assisted massage. She has a particular interest in complex foot and ankle issues.

DR MITCHELL WHITE (Podiatry)

Mitch graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Podiatric Practice. He is experience in all aspects of podiatry including foot and ankle pain, diabetes foot assessments, children’s feet, orthotics and nail surgeries. DR EMILIA ARIF STEPHEN (Podiatry)
(DPM, B.BMed, M.A.Pod.A.) Podiatrist
Emilia completed her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine post-graduate degree at the University of Western Australia. She has also completed a Bachelor of Biomedicine at The University of Melbourne, and an Embryology graduate diploma at Monash University. Her areas of interest include foot and ankle injuries, dermatological conditions, as well as empowering patients through patient education. Emilia is a kind and compassionate practitioner with a passion for providing high-quality treatment tailored to each individual. She strives to give you the care you need. Her warm and caring nature makes you instantly feel you are in good hands. Emilia is an avid reader, she speaks 3 languages (English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia) and is a black belt in Taekwondo. Emilia is a pet lover and a people person.

DR IAN LY (Podiatry)
(BHSc MPod) Podiatrist
Ian (BHsc MPod) graduated from LaTrobe University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Podiatric Practice. Prior to podiatry, Ian has attained a Bachelors of Biomedical Science in 2016 from Monash University, majoring in pharmaceuticals. Since graduating, Ian has practised in both private clinic and community health clinics in Brisbane for a year and a half – specialising in home visits and nursing homes. Ian has moved back to Melbourne in June 2022 and is experienced in managing chronic health conditions in patient’s. Outside of podiatry, Ian engages in badminton, snowboarding, and weightlifting.
